Hyperwave strengthens its management team

Munich • October 13, 2008 Hyperwave has strengthened the sales and marketing dimensions of its management team. With Carl Gustav van der Linden, it has been possible to recruit a highly experienced manager to the position Regional Sales Director. After three months with the company, Mike Woolley has been appointed VP for Business Development & Marketing.

With this extension to its management positions in the sales and marketing field, Hyperwave is emphasizing its new strategic orientation. “I am glad that with Carl Gustav van der Linden and Mike Woolley, we have been able to attract two managers with international experience who will help strengthen and extend Hyperwave's market position,” says Hyperwave's CEO, Herwig Gangl.

As Regional Sales Director, Carl Gustav van der Linden has been responsible for the sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and all the international regions apart from England and the USA since mid-September. He can call on many years of experience in sales and key account management at leading American software houses. During the last 13 years, he has occupied various sales and management positions at Hyperion (now Oracle), culminating in his appointment as General Manager for Austria. Before that, this native Swede worked for several years in sales positions for Siemens in Sweden, Germany and Italy.

Mike Woolley

Mike Woolley took up his post as Business Development & Marketing Manager at Hyperwave UK three months ago. Due to the rapid success he achieved in the British market, he was promoted to the position of Vice President for Business Development & Marketing worldwide and is now responsible for all international marketing activities and analyst relations. Specializing in Content Management, he can look back on many years of experience of IT management in publicly and privately owned companies where he has occupied various management positions from design and development through to the implementation and worldwide marketing of ECM solutions.
