Scanning Option

In order to include paper-based documents to the document Life Cycle, such documents must be digitized using a scanning interface. The Hyperwave Scanning Option allows the integration of paper-based documents into existing electronic processes.

The fastest path from paper to productivity

The tight integration with Kofax's Ascent Capture product provides Hyperwave users access to a comprehensive production capture solution, including document, data and Internet-based distributed capture. Using the intuitive dialog interface it is possible to load historic documents and reports, only available in hardcopy, into a fully indexed and searchable electronic repository. Together with the use of meta tagging it is possible to add descriptive information to the images and OCR documents to assist in the categorisation and classification of such documents.

The Hyperwave Scanning Option enables emails, word processing files, photos, Web forms, XML streams or other electronic content through the same powerful indexing and validation process. That means your Hyperwave solution gets consistently indexed content - no matter what the source - allowing reliable, easy and fast retrieval of all information.
