The Hyperwave Workflow Option extends the Hyperwave Collaborative Information Management (CIM) platform through the introduction of an effective workflow engine. Using this engine, information can be passed through a business process and revised, approved and released using an automated environment. The Hyperwave Workflow Option provides powerful process management tools, including the ability to perform parallel processes and control complex conditional process flows.

Within process flows, information can be interactively supplemented or modified to provide further detail and value to the entire process. The addition of the Hyperwave Workflow Option to the Hyperwave Collaborative Information Management (CIM) platform enables business processes to be applied to any type of content managed by the Hyperwave platform, including complete directory structures, for example during a purchasing process, coordinating shipping of products or managing distribution of information.

The Hyperwave Workflow Option introduces Business Process Management to the Hyperwave solutions and applications. 100% Web-based, it enables everyone in the organization to create and manage process definitions, initiate business cases and to work on tasks in an easy and intuitive way. By extending Hyperwave's fine-granular access rights system with a dynamic role model, ease of use could be achieved while retaining a very high standard of security and access control.

The creation, administration and modification of process definitions are made simple through the use of the integrated graphical process modeling tool. The Hyperwave Workflow Option enables the modeling and management of all business critical enterprise activities.
