Business Process Management
The Hyperwave Collaborative Information Management (CIM) Platform extends the comprehensive Document Management Platform by adding a powerful Workflow module. Business processes can be created easily using the integrated graphic process designer.
The created processes can be managed and tracked in the system using version control. Work packages (individual documents and files, or whole collections) are "forwarded" from one process task to the next. A process task can either be inputted manually or it can be an action carried out automatically by the system. Process participants are notified by e-mail when there is a task for them to complete. They can then access the task they have to complete over the completely Web-based interface.
All steps that are taken in the process tasks are logged by the system, and interim results are archived. Access rights are assigned automatically according to the role of the participant and the tasks they have to carry out. Tasks can be assigned a maximum duration, to avoid any delays in the completion of the process.
